On Line Notary Public license?

In New York state there are online notary public licensing classes to prepare for the exam, however there is not an online exam. You must go to the exam facility at specified times and dates for the N.Y.S. Notary Public Walk-In Exam.

You can however prepare for the N.Y.S. Exam online. The Notary Association online exam preparation course has less than a 1% repeat ratio in other words you should pass the exam on the first try. It is a Guaranteed course whereas if you failed the exam there is a free repeat of the N.Y. online Notary Public Exam Prep Course until you pass. Less than 1 percent of our students need to repeat.

What is the notary exam like? You are given one hour to answer 40 multiple choice questions from the N.Y.S. Notary Public Licensing Law. It is a walk-in exam where you pay $15 to enter and fill in answers with a #2 lead pencil. Approximately 1 week later you receive you PASS or FAILED notification in the mail. As noted 60% get FAILED. Our students finish the 1- hour exam in an average of 10 to 20 minutes.
